Its been ages since I dug around in the old photographs. I flip through once in a while in search of something sweet of one of the kids, but not looking at my own. Weird. Had my first phone conversation with Rabbi Joe. I was a bit nervous, but it went really well. We talked about books, and things to study. I am excited about all the books. So much to learn, and so much to read. It makes me happy.

Off to a running start this week. Back at work and ready to role. We have a midnight launch this week, whoo Uncharted 2.  The store looks amazing, the list of changes got made over the weekend, and then some. I have a great staff. Work has been stressful for a few months, but really hammering it home over the last two. Things were complicated before my boss went out on leave and have continued to be so. Running the store is not difficult as far as daily operations.

I have now officially knitted a strip 2in.x5in. of what will probably end up a bit of scarf. It is rather scarf width and as I only know how to do this so far, making it longer seems to make quite a lot of sense at the moment ( Read more... )

The stories are coming hard and fast, like the "writer's block" has been blasted. Re-finding the illustrations in my fingertips is slower, so I work on it as it comes. Have two stories finished, need the illustrations. Will be good soon ( Read more... )

I don't have cancer anymore. The test results came by mail this afternoon. The week has been turbulent, as has the past few months. I feel it deep, so good news serves to lift some of the heavy expectation that comes with me being moody. Perhaps in the days to come I will even manage the happy dance.
